Kupenga Kwa Hamlet
In the twilight of a pre-colonial Zimbabwe, a world of unyielding beliefs and ritual, where the afterlife and the present co-exist Hamlet, a tribal prince, returns home to find his father murdered, his mother incoherent and a new, dangerous chief in power. As the corpses mount, who buries who, and what danger is lurking in the wings of this small kingdom?

"A rollicking, fast-paced bit of storytelling" - Time Out
Inspired by the experiences of the roughly 3 million Zimbabweans that now live abroad, and their own encounters with returning home. An eclectic revolving disc of characters and situations provides a lens for the consideration of ‘home’ and what it means to be a ‘ diasporan’ in your own country. This is it. This is Harare, eclectic and electric. This is MAGETSI!
